Fox Run Regional Park
Fox Run Regional Park is a beautiful outdoor recreational area located and maintained by El Paso County in Colorado. The Park is situated on the northern edge of Colorado Springs just south of Monument Colorado. The park is heavily wooded with Ponderosa Pine Trees and offers visitors numerous amenities including multiple recreational fields, playgrounds, bathrooms, small lakes, dog park, hiking trails, pavilions, and more.
Fox Run Park - El Paso County
Fox Run Park was dedicated in 1986 and covers over 415 acres of trails and open space. To this day, Fox Run Park is widely used and enjoyed by thousands of visitors every year. The park is an excellent location for family reunions, church picnics, group gatherings, and more.
Fox Run Lake and Wedding Venue
Fox Run Park has two small lakes and an over-water pavilion. This is a popular location for outdoor weddings and has ample stone seating for large events. Reservations for weddings can be made on the El Paso County Community Service Page (Click Here).
Fox Run Pavilion
There are several picnic areas throughout the park, as well as a multiple large pavilions that can be reserved for events. The park also has multiple playgrounds and a dog park for visitors to enjoy. Near the pavilions, visitors also have access to restrooms, drinking fountains, parking (handicap accessible), picnic tables, and more.
Fox Run Park Hours and Rules
Fox Run Park is open seven days a week from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
There is no over night camping at the park and gates are locked after 9 PM.
With the exception of the Fox Run Dog Park, all pets must remain on a leash even on outlying trails.
Permits are required for organized events and pavilions. Reservations can be made on the EL Paso County Facility Reservations Website (Click Here).
No alcohol or other substances are permitted in the park. The park is patrolled and enforced by Park Staff, Park Rangers, and the El Paso County Sheriffs Department.
